At Delco Windows and Doors, we take pride in tackling unique window and door replacement projects. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Leo in Thornhill, Ontario, on a full house transformation.
One of the key features of Leo's home was a beautiful, yet somewhat challenging, shaped window at the front entrance. Replacing this window with a standard option wouldn't do justice to the home's character. However, replicating its unique form required a high degree of precision and customization.
Our team didn't shy away from the challenge. To ensure a perfect fit, we employed a meticulous approach:
Precise Measurement and Templating: We meticulously measured the existing window to create a precise template for the new one.
Custom Jamb Fabrication: Utilizing specialized machinery, we meticulously bent a new jamb to replicate the exact shape of the original window.
Tailored Trim Installation: Since standard trim wouldn't work, we created custom bend trim to seamlessly match the window's unique form.
This meticulous approach ensured a flawless installation that preserved the home's original aesthetic charm while enhancing its energy efficiency and security.
